These guidelines, funded by the Department of Health and Ageing and prepared in collaboration by Orygen Youth and National Cannabis Prevention and Information Centre, are the first guidelines of their kind in the world.

They provide information for anyone who might come in contact with a problematic cannabis user: they provide information on how to recognise when someone's cannabis use has become a problem, how to provide initial support and information, how to guide the person to seek appropriate professional help or other help options and even what to do if the person does not want help with their problems.

Click here to download the Guidelines.
