A new and significant resource on Assessment and Outcome Measures for Comorbidity developed by NADA the NSW AOD peak body.
A Review of Screening, Assessment and Outcome Measures for Drug and Alcohol Settings was commissioned by NADA as part of the NGO Drug and Alcohol and Mental Health information Management Project and funded by the NSW Health Department.
This comprehensive resource was developed to inform the selection of measures for use in the data collection system NADA is developing as part of this project. It is a useful reference resource for organisations researching screening and measurement of treatment outcomes for clients with drug and alcohol and mental health issues, such as those organisations involved in the Improved Services Initiative.
You can download it here or from the NADA website. It is a comprehensive review, and therefore quite a large document, the contents page has been bookmarked so by pressing Ctrl + click you can jump to a particular section of the document.
You will find the inclusion of an ACRONYM Dictionary of great value, together with a useful summary table at the beginning of the document. It's a fantastic resource for both the AOD and Mental Health sector.
