Australian Comorbidity Training Review and Database

The National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction (NCETA) has released the first resource in the new NCETA Workforce Development Report Series.

This new resource includes the report Alcohol & Other Drugs, Mental Health & Comorbidity: A Training Review and a CD-Rom with an interactive Microsoft Office Access Database Alcohol & Other Drugs, Mental Health & Comorbidity: Australian Training Courses Database 2008

The database includes 1192 accredited and non-accredited courses in the fields of alcohol and other drugs (AOD), mental health (MH), and AOD/MH Comorbidity and Psychology that were available in Australia in 2008.

The CD-Rom also includes a pdf version of the report and pdf's (for those people who do not have the Access program on their computers), sorted by
• Accredited Courses
• Non-Accredited Courses
• Psychology Courses
• Indigenous-Specific Courses
To order your copy of the Report and CD-Rom or the CD-Rom only, you can email NCETA reception at nceta@flinders.edu.au or telephone 08 8201 7535

You can also download a pdf of the report from NCETA's website www.nceta.flinders.edu.au.
The section called "How to use this database" is especially helpful, if you don't use Access regularly.
