The NSW Health Drug and Alcohol Psychosocial Interventions Professional Practice Guidelines are the first generic professional guidelines developed for the NSW drug and alcohol practice. The guidelines aim to increase staff effectiveness as psychosocial clinicians and span the various allied health disciplines within the drug and alcohol workforce as well as the public and private sectors.
A section of these Guidelines is dedicated to the fundamental components of the treatment processes.
