NSW Health: Comorbidity Framework for Action released in April 2008. This was developed to respond to issues posed by comorbidity in that State's health settings. The document articulates four priority areas for action to form the basis for change and the strategic direction for managing it. In the Framework for Action NSW Health highlighted the responses it, together with its partners, will undertake in the immediate future to address comorbidity. Read about workforce planning and development, infrastructure and systems development, response in priority settings for priority clients and the improved promotion, prevention and early intervention strategies; as well as adherence to the principles of partnership.
